Stella Maris Threads was born from my Catholic faith and a desire to bring more beauty into everyday life. As I began attending daily Mass, I often felt underdressed and uninspired in the typical t-shirt and jeans I had always worn. Once I traveled through Europe, I encountered the breathtaking beauty the Catholic Church has left in her wake throughout the centuries — the art, the architecture, the reverence, and the sense that beauty itself can draw the soul closer to God.
That experience inspired me to initiate something different: an elevated t-shirt dress unlike the ordinary. Every Stella Maris Threads dress is intentionally designed with a regal, graceful movement that flatters the body while remaining effortless and comfortable. Our original prints are created to reflect the truth, beauty, and goodness of the faith — pieces that spark conversation, inspire curiosity, and allow women to feel both comfortable and beautifully put together.
We spent countless hours sourcing our premium cotton fabric that would move beautifully while remaining soft, breathable, and wearable for everyday life. Each collection is produced in limited batches, with most prints planned as first-and-only runs, making every piece feel special and distinctive.
Every Stella Maris Threads item is proudly made in America. While many companies choose overseas production, we opted to keep our manufacturing in the United States, because it ties deeply into our identity and values. Quality, craftsmanship, and intentionality matter to us and we believe that should be reflected in every stitch.

As for our chosen tag line - The expression "wear your heart on your sleeve" originated from medieval jousting. Before entering a tournament, a knight would dedicate his perfromance to a lady by tying her scarf or ribbon around his sleeve. As he rode into battle, he publicly displayed both his devotion and his willingness to defend her honor - even at great personal risk. Today the phrase describes someone who openly expresses themselves.
